The promotion of an early exit culture during the last decades has led into a form of acceptable age discrimination. The recent debates on mature-aged employees in the labour market are demographic in nature. However, proposals and targets for extending working life are unlikely to be met without the active support of employers. Therefore, my research addresses employersŽ attitudes and actions towards this cohort.
Mature-aged employees: There exists no common definition for this cohort.
