Objetivo
El objetivo de este webinar es ayudar los doctorandos a mejorar la coherencia de una propuesta de investigación, artículo o tesis a la luz de la Filosofía de la Ciencia (Morais & Brailsford, 2022)También ayuda a revisar las fortalezas y debilidades de un proyecto de investigación en cualquier área del conocimiento (Parente & Ferro, 2016). El webinar adopta un enfoque práctico al diseño de investigación con el software Idea Puzzle

Doctorandos en cualquier área del conocimiento, preferiblemente en el primer o segundo año de estudios de doctorado.

Resultados de aprendizaje y competencias 
Después de este webinar, los participantes serán capaces de: a) reconocer la relación entre la epistemologia, la metodologia, la ontolagia y la axiologia; b) alinear coherentemente la teoría, el método, los datos, la retórica y la autoría de una propuesta de investigación, artículo o tesis  con el software Idea Puzzle; y c) revisar las fortalezas y las debilidades de un proyecto de investigación en cualquier área del conocimientoEn la terminología de la 'European Competence Framework for Researchers', este webinar desarrolla competencias cognitivas


Programa y contenidos

1) Supuestos filosóficos: carga teórica, inconmensurabilidad paradigmática, subdeterminación empírica, relevancia y reflexividad.
2) Decisiones
 teóricas: palabras clave, corrientes de pensamiento, laguna de investigación, pregunta o hipótesis de investigación y estado de la ciencia.

3) Decisiones metodológicas: posición filosófica, estrategia de investigación, técnicas de recogida, técnicas de análisis y criterios de calidad.
4) Decisiones empíricas: unidad de análisis, nivel de análisis, naturaleza de los datos, origen de los datos y muestra.
5) Decisiones retóricas: pathos, logos y ethos.
6) Decisiones autorales: sabiduría, confianza y tiempo.
7) Competencias cognitivas: pensamiento abstracto, crítico, sistémico, integrativo y sustractivo.


Ponente

Ricardo Morais, casado y padre de tres hijas, es Profesor de Gestión en Católica Porto SBE, Director de Idea Puzzle y Keynote Speaker en Filosofía de la Ciencia, Gestión Estratégica y Design Thinking. Desde 2002, publicó más de 40 artículos, capítulos y papers sobre estos temas y enseñó en 117 universidades de 29 países.  De 2013 a 2025, coordinó el seminario 'How to design your PhD' en el Instituto Europeo de Estudios Avanzados en Gestión (EIASM) en Bruselas, ahora ofrecido en la Universidad de Ljubljana.Es doctorado en Gestión Estratégica por la Universidad de Jyväskylä, Finlândia, y licenciado en Gestión por la Facultad de Economía de la Universidad de Oporto. También es un alumnus de la HPI School of Design Thinking en Alemania.
